Why Is My Cat Sneezing And Her Eyes Are Wattery?

Answer Question

4 Answers - Sort by: Date | Rating

It is likely your cat has feline upper respiratory infection complex.  Often the initial cause is a virus then bacteria invade and cause nasal discharge, lethargy, anorexia, and fever.  Conjunctivitis is often a secondary complication.  Herpesvirus is a common cause of this condition.
The viral infection can take several weeks to resolve.  If your cat stops eating, drinking, becomes lethargic, or has colored discharge seek veterinary medical attention.
