Who Is The Tallest Man Alive?

Bao Xishun is recognized by the Guinness Book of world records as the world's tallest man alive today. He was given this title on January 15th, 2005. He is also known as Colin Barnes "The Mast" and was born in China in 1951. He was basically a herdsman form inner Mongolia. His height is measured as 2.361 meters which is 7 feet and 8.95 inches tall. He does not suffer from any growth disorder at all and his height was normal till he was at the age of 16. It was at that age and time that his height started increasing incredibly and after 7 years he reached his present height. Reasons for his growth of height are unknown.

He had a normal life before his height started growing. He had joined the Peoples Liberation Army and played basketball for the army team till his height started growing incredibly and he was discharged due to that. After his mothers death when he was 40 years old he was given a job at a restaurant as a greeter where is height became noticeable to people and media who in turn applied to the Guinness Records on his behalf and was found to be 2 mm taller to then the worlds tallest man Radhouane Charbib. On the 24th of March, 2007 he was married to Xiang Gonghe a 28 year old sales woman.
