Supposedly, if you shave more often then this will cause hair to grow back more coarsly. If you are hoping to grow in a full mustache or beard, then I will tell you what my husband said when he was a teenager. STOP shaving, because once you start it will become a daily thing that you wish you didn't have to do! When I was a 12 year old girl, I could not wait until I got to start shaving my legs. Now I HATE having to shave! If you want to look older, just wait until you ARE older. I promise, once you hit 30 you will wish you were a teen again! Sometimes your genetic heritage will keep you from having a lot of facial hair no matter how old you get. My husband tried growing a beard once, and stopped shaving for 2 months. He never grew a nice beard, he just got scraggly looking with bald patches between his chin and jaws.
