I'd imagine Bush will be remembered for two things:
    1) The war in Iraq and any other conflicts he will/has managed to create
    2) His ability to turn any speech he makes into a joke by either getting a fact wrong or completely messing up what he is saying.

Other than that, I doubt he will be remembered for anything good. That I know of anyway. Maybe he can change this with the Global Warming issues? Doubtful.

President George W Bush's name will go down in the books of history as one who started the war on terror in Afghanistan in pursuit of Osama Bin Laden whose terror network Al Qaeda allegedly masterminded the 9/11 attacks in the United States which claimed more than 3000 lives. He will also be remembered for waging war on Iraq under the guise of eliminating weapons of mass destruction (WMD) from that country in utter disregard for anti-war protests by millions of people from across the world. The US forces attacked Iraq, toppled Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein and have killed hundreds of thousands of Iraqis since then in clashes with armed groups. Although Bush finally tightened the noose around Saddam, peace has not been restored in Iraq so far. Nor were the US forces successful in capturing Osama on whose head the US put a bounty of millions of dollars. President Bush has come in for a lot of attack for his conduct of Iraq war. Many regard him as one who lied about WMD in order to occupy Iraq and capture oil reserves. Others call him the liberator of Iraqis who rid the nation of Saddam. Nevertheless, he will remain a controversial character in history

I think president Bush will always be remembered as an unkind ruler of American. Not only had he earned bad name in the entire Muslim world but also in America too. He killed so many innocent people in Afghanistan and in Iraq and also his country men i.e. American soldier. Not only had this it really destroyed the economy of his country. He is a non serious president in the history of America. His policies are highly immature one and non serious one. He has destroyed peace all over the world. Now the biggest draw back is that Americans feel those selves insecure through the world. With out any solid ground you can not claim any thing and can not attack any country. Through out the world it's been Muslims who are on the receiving end of barbarism and this has created feelings of hatred in the hearts of Muslims all over the world. So this is what has cost America a lot due to president bush. Now this is very difficult to change the image of America in those minds that have been on the receiving end. And this is what a very big issue for Americans and their security. I hope that we see the earth as peaceful place where every one have equal rights to live .

While Bush's action were only in reaction to the attack on innocent Americans on American soil, He did not start the action in Iraq. The only thing that upset the Muslim world is the fact that they had just finished eight years of attacks on Americans around the world without being held accountable for the death and destruction brought about by Muslim terrorist. It is quite clear that the Muslim agenda is to take over every country in the world and force the misguided precepts on its people.
Was it wrong to go to Iraq? I don't think so - someone not only needed to stop the murder of innocent people in Iraq, someone also needed to step up and destroy the WMDs in Iraq. Before you, as so many, say that there were no weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, you should seek out personal photos of soldiers that were among the first to enter Baghdad. I have seen photos first hand of the remnants of WMDs in Iraq.
I do believe that as history unfolds, Bush will be seen as having done what was right and good for America, Iraq, and the world.

Not only will Bush be remembered for starting a war for all the wrong reasons, he will also be remembered for probably the most scandal-filled administration in US history. He will be remembered for his advocacy of torture, a God complex, depriving people of basic human rights, and deceiving the American people. He has flouted the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, initiated illegal procedures, and has constantly lied to us. He has frightened the population of the US into seeing terrorism where none exists, and six years later we are not any safer than we were before 9/11. He has appointed people to posts for which they were not qualified and fired people for not being "Bushies". I think he has duped the American people and will be remembered as one of, if not the most, incompetent president to ever lead this country.

He would be remembered for telling the world what politicians really mean when they talk about "world peace".

Perhaps American people can enumerate a few positive points of his mandate, but for the rest of the world his name will be inevitably and solely associated to the war in Iraq.
