    MAD Magazine is a humour magazine which is published in America and  which focuses on and parodies pop culture and American life.

    MAD Magazine started out as a comic book in 1952 and was part of EC Comics. It became a magazine in 1955.

    MAD Magazine is well known for its humorous illustrations, particularly ones of celebrities where their facial features are exaggerated.

    The magazine contains many humorous recurring features, including an ongoing storyline about a teenager called Monroe and parodies of television shows and films.

    The magazine is also well known for its use of the illustration of Alfred. E Neuman, a fictional mascot of the magazine.

      This magazine was mainly for readers in their early teens but became popular with therly twenties. The coimic and zany contents were popular for people who today enjoy magazines like viz.
