    Metal Gear Solid 2 also known as 'Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty (MGS2)'. It is a video game title for the Play Station 2. The game was developed by Konami Computer Entertainment Japan (West); the game was also published by Konami. The main designer, writer, producer, and director of the game is Hideo Kojima. MGS2 is the sixth installment in the Metal Gear Series.

    The North American release of the game was done on the 14th of November, 2001. The Japanese release of the game was done on the 29th of November in the year 2001. The game falls under the Stealth Action Genre. MGS2 is a single player game. The story line of the game is a sequel to Metal Gear Solid.
