You both could be carrying a blonde hair trait. If those two dna links during reproduction, then you will have a child with blonde hair. A person with brown hair has combined all hair color traits, because brown is created from combining, red, blue, and blonde. You can think of blue as black in terms of hair coloring an skin tones. No one can predict what color hair your child will have. Your DNA a millions of traits and any of them may merge with your mates.

Blonde, brown or red, not black. Black is dominant and one of the parents would have to have black hair.

Well, it depends on your parents. Like if both your parents have brown hair, and both your baby daddy's parents have red hair, there's an either 75% or a 100% your baby will have brown hair.
