    Spencer Tracy was the very first actor who won consecutive Oscars for the best actor for Captains Courageous in the year 1937 and for Boys Town in the year 1938 in the history of Academy Awards. He was also nominated for seven other roles; some of them were Inherit the wind in the year of 1960 and Judgment at Nuremberg in the year of 1961.

    The United States film actor enrolled in the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in 1922. Sooner he started to earn roles on Broadway. From 1930 he started on Broadway in "The last mile" and "Up the river". Spencer Tracy became the top star in between 1930s and 40s.

    Tracy had a relationship with Katharine Hepburn and the duo performed together in nine films and some of them are "Woman of the year" in 1942, "Adam's rib" in 1949 and "Guess who's coming to dinner" in 1967.

    The great actor of all time, Spencer Tracy died on 10th June, 1967 in California.
