That site is a good place to start.  Beware of creationist sites.  Virtually all biologists/geologists agree that evolution has occurred but there are some groups of people that, for religious reasons, just don't accept it.

Oh, beware of creationist sites? Well, if that isn't an interesting idea. You tell them that your idea is correct, creationists are wrong, and hey will only lead you astray from the truth. This is one problem i have with evolutionists. They unknowingly place evolution as their God and refuse to look at any other possibilties. Perhaps the best way to find the truth is to look at both arguments, and make an impartial judgement. Unfortunately, evolutionists, won't even take the time to do that.

I've looked at both sides and I still look at creationist sites for amusement. However they tend to be filled with scientific sounding misinformation that, as an expert, I can identify and refute. Sending a novice to those sites would be like sending a person who wants to learn about the Earth to a 'Flat Earther' site. Or someone who wants to learn about the holocaust to a holocaust denier site. Science is done by scientists who teach at universities so I sent the poster to a university site
