What Is The Difference Between PHP And .Net?

Answer Question

PHP is open source, and easier to code against (opinion).  .NET is a framework developed by Microsoft. Each .NET project that you develop needs to be compiled prior to running (unlike PHP, which is compiled on the fly, when requested).  That Bamadmin guy makes no sense whatsoever. PHP actually stands for Hypertext Preprocessor. It used to stand for "Personal Home Page" back when the creator of PHP (derived from PERL) was just using it for personal use.

PHP is the name of the server the administrator is using. usually it's html. Net means the site will NOT sell stuff directly to you but they do have links to sites that sell items :)
