    According To Us Government, What Are The Requirements To Classify An Animal Species As Endangered?

    Polar bears in the artic region have dwindling population numbers and could be placed as "Endangered". I would like to know what are the requirements of an endangered speices, like is there a specific number of the species that it falls under to classify it as Endangered? Please help.

    Endangered specie refers to the population of an organism that is feared to become extinct. This is because they are either few in number of are threatened by environmental factors. The Endangered Species Act of 1973 is the governing law for endangered species that defines what is an endangered specie and what are the rules and regulations for it.
