There are various ways by which computers can be categorized. I am giving the classification of computers on the basis of the performance of computers.
The first classification of computers is known as super computer and they can process trillions of instructions in seconds. These computers are commonly used in the industries. The second type of classification includes the mainframes. These computers are used in small industries like hospitals, airlines etc. Third classification is Minicomputer which are used in the educational institutions. The most common used computer classification is personal computers. Moreover, notebooks or the laptops are also getting much in demand.
