Where Is Doddington, Cambridgeshire?

Doddington is a tiny village situated in Cambridgeshire, approximately four miles in between Chatteries and March. Initially, Doddington was one of the biggest parishes in England, hence making it the rich and prosperous. According to the 1856 Act it was distributed into seven rectories, Benwick, Doddington, Wimblington, March Old Town, March St Peter, March St John and March St Mary.

In the middle of the town there is a clock tower which was constructed in the year 1897 in honour of the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Victoria. The village is quiet well known for its yearly carnival which is held every July.

Many ancient structures are also found in this village most famous one being the Doddington Hall which was constructed in 1600s, it has till date never been sold.
