How Long Does A Bank Account Freeze Normally Last?

My late dad,s lawyer froze my account, in relation to money owed to him by my late dad. How long can this freeze up lasts?

    Until you either pay him what he thinks you owe or until you hire another lawyer and have the freeze ended.  If the account that was frozen wasn't a joint account then you may have cause for a civil action against this attorney.  I would recommend you contact Legal Aid for help.

      Depends on the situation sometimes 7 days sometimes 10 but your bank should let you know just how long that its going to take unless other wise directed through a court or government agency.
