    Virus is a Latin word which means poison.They have characteristics of both living and non_living things.how ever when they enter the body of any any living organism they reproduce their like living organisms hence they are considered as a link between living and non_living things on the other hand protozoa are living organisms

      The obvious difference is that a virus isn't actually alive. They do perform some life processes that living organisms perform, but enough to be classed as living...

      Whereas protozoa are living organisms, and do perform all life processes...
