It is about a rebel teenager girl who screams, swears, and drinks and out of control. She met with accident. No one is there to take care of this girl. Lily haul is the daughter of Rachel and she takes care of her. Matriarch Georgia is not good grandmother. She passed her life in a very tragic manner. She shares his experiences with his grand daughter. She is struggling to support the youth woman. She wants to solve Rachel problems. But Rachel teases her in summer and shakes up the whole little town. Georgia observed changes in the Rachel. Rachel is giving her grandmother chances to save her.

The movie Georgia Rule, starring tearaway actress Lindsay Lohan, Felicity Huffman and Jane Fonda. A uncontrollable teenager is taken by her mother (who has her own problems) to visit her grandmother. The journey is their journey as three women discover things about themselves and each other. Fonda plays an unusual grandmother figure, not the benign old wise dodderer of other movies, in this, she knows exactly what Lohan's character is going through.

It's tagline is 'In this family, attitude doesn't skip a generation'.

The movie is directed by Garry Marshall who has directed many made for tv style movies and some television episodes, and written by Mark Andrus who wrote the Divine Secrets of the Ya Ya Sisterhood.

Release dates are May 2007 for the USA, the Netherlands is September 2007, no dates for the UK yet available.

Whilst making this movie, reportedly Lindsay Lohan visited Disneyland during a break from shooting and was highly intoxicated.

Georgia Rules is a movie that explores family problems, mother daughter relationship and child abuse and molestation. The screen play has been written by Mark Andrus and directed by Garry Marshall. It is funny in parts but has some dramatic and poignant moments too.

Lily (Felicity Huffman) no longer able to understand or tolerate her daughter Rachael's (Lindsay Lohan) rebellious behavior sends her away to live with her grandmother Georgia (Jane Fonda) in a farm in Idaho. Georgia attempts to tame her unruly grand daughter and slowly as a bond develops between the two Rachael's hidden fears and vulnerabilities are revealed. The shocking revelation that Rachael has been molested by her apparently straight forward step father brings the three women together and tests their loyalties to each other.

In real life, Lindsay may be a brat but she has portrayed the character of Rachael very well. Jane Fonda, at 70 has well played Georgia as the strict disciplinarian and Felicity caught between mother and daughter plays the role efficiently.

The film-makers are aiming at giving a realistic picture of abuse and intense mother-daughter-grand daughter relationship with some dark humour thrown in. Lindsay Lohan's controversial scenes with an Idaho boy continue to be of much interest and may give the movie a R rating. Lindsay Lohan is one of the biggest celebrities in America right now and it seems that what is she is going though off camera is what will in happen in Georgia Rule.
