When Was Douglas Adams Born?

Douglas Noel Adams was born on March 11th, 1952. Douglas was a British author, radio dramatist and a part-time musician. He is famous for his book Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy series. Hitchhiker's started off on radio and went on to become a "trilogy" of five books. The book was later converted into a television series, comic book series, a computer game and also into a movie. The book it self sold around fifteen million copies.

Apart from The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Douglas Adams also wrote three more stories Doctor Who. Adams was a well known environmentalist, a self proclaimed "radical atheist" who loved fast cars, cameras, Macintosh computers and many other Gizmos. He was a keen follower and lover of technology he started using e-mail and Usenet even before they became prominent.
