    The minimum wage rate in Kansas is $ 2.65 an hour according to the department of labor statistics.This rate is considerably lower in comparison to the other states for example the minimum wage rate in the states of Kentucky, Iowa, Indiana, Idaho, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Pennsylvania and Hawaii is $7.25 an hour. Kansa has the lowest per hour minimum wage amongst all the states and this even lower than the Federal minimum wage of $6.55 per hour. The highest wage rate is in Washington which is $8.55.
