    Both Stephen Fry and Jim Dale narrate the Harry Potter audiobooks.

    Stephen Fry is the narrator of the UK edition of the Harry Potter audiobooks. He has won numerous awards for his narration, including a Talkie Award for Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone and Golden Spoken Word Awards for Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban and Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. Stephen Fry also narrated The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy in 2005. He has narrated all six of the UK editions of the Harry Potter Books so far.  

    Jim Dale is the narrater of the American edition of the Harry Potter books, and also narrates the Harry Potter DVDs. He has narrated all six books so far. For his narration of the books, he has won many awards including a Grammy Award (in 2000), four Grammy nominations,seven Audie Awards, two Benjamin Franklin Awards and seven Audio File Earphone Awards. His seven Audie Awards included 'Audio Book of the Year 2004', 'Best Narrator of 2004, 2005 and 2006', and 'Best Children's Audio Book 2005'.

    Jim Dale created 134 different character voices for Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, earning him a Guinness World Record. Alongside this, he also won a Guinness World Record for having the first six entries in the 'Top Ten Audio Books of America 2005'.
