An FBI agent loses his daughter because of her drinking and driving episode. However he also knows that it was not an accident and he needs to get to the bottom of the story.
At the same time there is a psychopath on the loose who enjoys killing people whom he personally knows and only after all research of their liking and fears does he makes a move.
And now he has marked his next victim who is the surviving daughter of an FBI agent. Letting him know when and where he is going to attack he gains even more pleasure. So no doubt the FBI agent knows his plans but he can't get any help because no one is to be trusted.
Thus what can he do, although ready to go any extent to save the one thing he loves the most but having no way to do it. Well to find out , you will have to read the book "the next accident" by Lisa Gardner.
