I guess it would all depend on your reasoning for doing so like if its just to be nosy then no, but if its possibly for a matter of life and death then by all means go the distance and leave no one out

If I had a child and I really wanted to know something, I would look through their personal belongings if I think that something that they are hiding from me may put them in danger.
