If Everything Is Wet, Is Anything Wet, Because There Is Nothing Dry To Compare It To?

Answer Question

Ah, ive heard a similar question.

"If a tree falls, and no one is around to hear it, does it still make a sound"?
Yes, yes it does. How do we know? Well, when we are there, it does. When we put a recorder in our place it still does. We have studied properties of sound, and know that when that tree falls its makes a sound. Therefore, it becomes clear that the tree still makes a sound.

The same principal can be applied to the water question. First think,  what makes something 'wet'? That is when its partially saturated with water. Correct? This means that the water, is wet. The inside of fruit, are wet. If everything is wet, then its just that, 'wet'. 'Wet' is a word we made to describe such things, its not a matter of comparison..

    ...its a trait =D
