Well! It depends upon the knowledge you've about the electric or electronic systems. If you've some basic knowledge of physics and electrics and you know what the factors which allow current to pass are. and what the factors which prevent it from passing are. Moreover you must also have some knowledge of what the conductors, semi-conductors are. And what are the nonconductors? In this case you can easily draw the wiring diagrams and they would definitely work properly provided you have left no flaw in making the diagram.

But in other case, if you don't have adequate knowledge about this, then you need to improve some knowledge about these things first by reading, or you can make the diagrams first and then you can remove their faults after reading about these factors. It would help you in understanding the practical application of these diagrams. Hence you just need to pay some good attention. So do it yourself.

What you can do is to take some basic instructions from someone who knows how to draw these diagrams and then you can draw these diagrams for your own. I think it better than making diagrams without any knowledge. My suggestion is right if you think about it.
