Yes children should be able to bring cell phones to school. I am a child myself and i arr that children should be able to contact a guardian and if it is used for something else inappropriate thier parents should take their phones away. Eg: If a child walks to school and you arr a parent who wants to make sure that your child gets to school safely and that they put thier phones away in a reasonable place and that they don't fool around with it.

I think it can be very distracting, but at least if something were to happen (godforbid) that at least you would be the first person your child would call, or if a stranger tried to pick them up at the bus stop then they call call 911

Yes i do think that students should bring cell phones to school because what if there was a black out, the plug in phones would not work, cause they need power to actually work. Mobile phones can work during/at a black out because, they only need batteries to work, and if the batteries die out, it can be recharge.

No, i dont think so because many kids use thier phones to cheat on tests and text to other people about gossip and all of that.

Yes, I think Children Should have The Privlage To Bring Their Cell Phones To School Because They May Need A Way Of Contacting Their Guardian. I Do Say So Myself They Are A Bit Distracting. But If The Child Turns Their 'Cell Phones' On Low Or Vibrate I Think Its Logical For The Children To Be Able To Bring Their Phones To School.If The Phones Were Used In A None Kid Friendly Way Then I Would Reconsider The Fact That Child/Childrens Should Not Have The Privlage To Bring Their Cell Phones To School. So I think Its Perfectally Logical For Child Over The Age Of 8 To Bring Their Phones To school.
