Hi, first of I want my hotel to be clean. I want it to look very nice and up to date. The hotel must be rated at least a three, I prefer a five star. It should have an exercise room and a great view. The staff should be courteous and respectful of my needs. Last be not least, somewhere to entertain me and my guests. Take care!

 I agree with healthylady, The hotel must be a nice clean hotel ,and of course in a nice area. I like the hotel that have the indoor spa and pool. They have the mini gym. The hotels that has a bar you can go to have drinks and maby a nice food place in or around it . That way you don't have to drive all around town to get you or the family something to eat. Oh!, and I can't forget the staff or the worked there have to be nice and trustworthy.

 I prefer a location near the highway I am travelling but not directly on it. If the motel is on the highway then I request a room in the back in order to not hear the traffic. The motel must be in a good area.

The first thing I do is ask for a key and inspect the room for cleanliness. I never rent a room without checking it out first.

I don't care about a view unless I booked the hotel/motel for this purpose. I'm usually just getting a room to sleep.

It's nice to have a restaurant and bar at the hotel/motel and Internet service.

I have actually stopped staying at motels and prefer hotels. A lot of the motels have become weekly rentals which is not a place I would like to stay at.
