i know for a fact that the main difference bet. America and some of the south Asian country schooling is the years of schooling... Unlike in America, people can get their MA degree in by the age of 20 in India... Medical school is only 5 years... In America its 4 years undergrad... 4 years med school then internship then residency... God - it takes forever!!!!
