How Can I Upgrade My OS From Windows 2000 Server To Windows Server 2003?

In order to upgrade to the Windows Server 2003 you will need to buy a Windows Server 2003 CD or installation disc. The process is pretty simple and does not require a person to go through all the steps of uninstalling or formatting ones computer or drives. When the Installation CD is inserted it normally launches an auto run screen, if it fails to do so due to the Auto Run setting being disabled the setup.exe file can be activated by double clicking on it. Once the installation process starts it will give the user an option to either upgrade the Windows version from 200 to 2003 or to install a fresh new copy. Upgrading results in the Windows Server 2000 files being overwritten. Fresh installation installs the 2003 version without removing the 2000 version. In this way either operating system can be selected while booting the machine.
