Will A Brass Screw And Copper Nut React With Each Other And Corrode, Or Are They Non-corrosive And OK To Be Mounted Together?

I broke a screw on a mounting bracket for a txv expansion valve on my a/c. I replaced the screw with a brass screw. Not sure if the original mounting bracket and nut are brass or copper. If they are copper will either they or the brass screw corrode or are they OK together?

Brass is an alloy that contains copper, and so the two metals are non-reactive to one another.  Neither will cause the other to corrode.

When mounting brass/copper to galvanized metal/steel, however, use dielectric connectors to avoid corrosion of the galvanized metal since brass/copper will promote corrosion of the steel, while the brass/copper attached to it will remain corrosion free.
