The ancient roman people are known to have enjoyed their food ad they used expensive food along with different ways off showing others their wealth.
In a Banquet provided by a Roman roast peacock and Ostriches were served. Their breakfast was named jentaculum which was usually a slice of bread or pancakes with dates and honey. Lunch was named as prandium which was usually bread, cheese and some meat. They were not into meat stuff much so vegetables were normally apart of there meals along with herbs and spices. They use different sauces with meals and one of the favorite was garum.
Two of the roman meals are baked dormice and a sweet.
