What Can Anti Slip Tape Be Used For?

There are two main types of anti slip tape, double-sided to hold items such as rugs or carpets down on a floor, and singled sided, where something needs to be held down or marked but with a tape which people won't slip on when they step on it. This is far more likely to be in the workplace than in the home.

Where an area needs to be marked out for safety reasons, yellow and back striped anti slip tape can be stuck down to mark the area. This will be semi-permanent, in that it should last for some time, but if the situation calls for it, can be removed and new tape used for a different position. Tapes can be obtained that will stick to concrete, metal, wood and tiled surfaces as well as many solid floor coverings. It is also possible to buy anti slip tape for use in wet areas such as changing rooms or poolsides, or outside areas where vehicles or large components are being hosed down.
