Do You Think Cheerleading Is A Sport?

Yes, I think it is because it involves a lot of sports in it. Like for instance, there is dance, gymnastics and things like that involved. cheerleading involves a lot of strength and coordination so therefore it is like a sport.

I know cheerleading is a sport. If you think about it cheerleaders do as much work as any other sport. Such as football or basketball. We run, sweat, get hurt, and everything else that other sports do! So to me and hopefully to the world cheerleaders, such as my self, are athletes. And cheerleading is a sport.

Yes... I believe that anything that involves working out, is a sport and y wouldn't it be... Its even more dangerous than wrestling!!!

I am in cheer and i think it is a big sport, in it there is dance, gymnastics, you excerise so much, you run, and sometimes do a workout. I think stunting is a very sporty thing to, I'm a flyer, for that you need hard concentration, and locked legs and arms, my to bases need to use there strength to lift me, especially with popping, and my back spot is always watching me and helping me down and when doing fly stunts like basket toss, full, or pop, she has to use her muscles to catch me. Cheerleading is a big workout and can sometimes be pretty hard, so ya i do think its a sport and it is!!!!

YEAH!!!! Cheer is so a sport i am in it and it takes strength, positive attitude, and agility. I'm a flyer it takes concentration and locked legs and arms to do the trick. My Bases you there strength to lift me and the backspot uses there strength to catch me. Cheer is pretty dangerous too with all the different stunts. In  cheer u work up a sweat, you jog, workout and work on dancing and tumbling, tumbling is not one of my good subjects in cheer! I can do a cartwheel, round off, i can do both of those with one hand, and a front walk over. But yah i think Cheer is a really big sport!!
