When Is The Best Time To Prune Hydrengea Bushes?
We have a bush which is all green leaves only a couple of flowers underneath. Plant is 4 years old.

Generally, the best time is late winter (after the last freeze) but before the bush begins its fresh growth. If the fresh growth has begun, you're wasting "energy" the plant is putting toward new growth. The second-best option is in autumn before the first freeze.
