A website will comply with the guidelines of the FSA only if its owner has submitted an FSA claim form which has been signed. He or she should clearly request for reimbursement. If the FSA makes any expenditure on a website owner's behalf, the same cannot be claimed as a deduction from income tax.
The reimbursements are usually paid on the last working day of a week, namely Friday. These are for the claims which are processed on the Tuesday of each week. When a person receives his or her cheque, he or she will also receive a letter explaining the amount that has been paid and the amount of the balance in his or her current account. The website owner must submit claims for the plan year by April 30 of the previous year.
