    I'm Pregnant And My Daughter's Name Will Be Sophia. My Last Name Is Waltemath And Her Dad's Last Name Is Navarro. I Would Like To Know If She Can Use Sophia Waltemath Navarro.

    I'm asking because I heard from a lot of persons that here, in USA the child must use just the father surname.

    I've been trying to find out about this - from what I can discover, you are fine to use both names. There are some states that still have old laws about names, but I think these apply to women wanting to use only their maiden names, not to using both. However, to be sure, you would have to ask in the Public Records Office of the state where you are living.
