When Did Wendy Doolan First Play Golf?

    Wendy Doolan is a professional golfer from Sydney in Australia. She is one of the prominent players on the LPGA which is of course, The Ladies Professional Golf Association. The talented golfer began playing golf at the rather young age of 14.  

    Wendy Doolan was born on the sixteenth of December 1968. She competed in the British Women's Amateur Championship in 1991 and got the second prize. Soon after, in fact in later in the same year, she turned professional.

    During the first few years of her career she played mainly in Europe and Asia, as well as on the Second tier of the Futures Tour which was in the USA. She came 21st at the LPGA tour qualifying tournament. Thereafter Wendy Doolan has excelled in the LPGA tour and even managed three victories.

    She won at the LPGA Champions Classic in 2001, in the Welch/ Fry's Championship in 2003 as well as the Evian Masters in 2004. Her best ever result in the LPGA major is seventh place in 2001.
