Are We Becoming A Lazy Nation?

Kids do not excercise anymore not like on the old time farms and people are complaining about child obesity.Technology I think is to blame as well if we wanted to talk to a friend we walked to the house we did not email them or call them on a cell phone.Kids also and grown ups sit in front of a tv or computer or in front of video games no excersise. What do you think?

I agree. We also have larger portions offered at restaurants of all prices, more pre-packaged foods designed for convenience, fewer physical education programs in schools, more tv/computers per household, which allows more people to be in front of them, and so on.

I know what you mean. When I was a kid we'd be outside until we were called in. We rode our bikes instead of being driven everywhere. I'd walk the two miles home after hockey or volleyball or basketball practice. Have you seen some of the latest video games. You stand in front of a screen and swing a bat or a golf club or whatever. What's wrong with actually playing the game for real?

Computers are great things, and cell phones are handy, but we shouldn't be living our lives around them.
