Where Is Lake Loch Ness?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Lake 'Loch Ness' is a lake located in the country of Scotland and is a combination of two words 'Loch' and 'Ness'.

The word 'Loch' is used in Scotland for either a lake or any narrow strip of sea that is surrounded by land. And 'Ness' is a word used for a promontory or headland. Both these words combine to form the name of a lake that is situated in Scotland.

The lake has its fame because it is believed that it has a monster in its base called 'Loch Ness' monster which looks like a dinosaur. It is said that many people have seen the monster but nothing has been scientifically proven yet so nothing concrete can be said about the existence of the creature.
