Presently, if one excludes cases of elephantiasis, a gentleman called Matthew McGrory who lives in Pennsylvania has the biggest feet. He was born in 1973, in the United States and wears a US sports shoe size of 29.5. Central American born Francisco Sandoval Rios is also credited with having the biggest feet in the world; however he suffers from elephantiasis but is still able to walk. Previously, the world's tallest man, Robert Wadlow from Illinois who grew to a height of 8ft 11 inches, was said to have the world's biggest feet. His gigantism was due to a pituitary malfunction. He passed away in 1940 at a young age of 22.

Sadly Matthew McGory passed away in 2005 due to natural causes.
