Henry the VIII was a king with 6 wives. No one could really fathom what he wanted. The six wivers were Catherine of Aragone, Anne Bolyen, Jane Seymore, Annie of Cleves, Catherine Howard and Catherin Parr. Out of them one died, one survived, two marriages annulled and two divorced. Therefore, no one really knew what he wanted. None of the wives could give him a male heir maybe that was the reason for his discontentment.
