I don't know if my guinea pig is a boy or a girl, because my friends pig keeps mounting it, but the pet store said they are both boys. I am confused,

In animals one male mounting another male is normal. This action is a display of dominance. Mounting is the way the boy-on-top says, "I'm in charge and can do whatever I want to you." Or, as one of my classmates so elegantly phrased it: "I'm the pimp and you're my hoe." (His words, not mine.)
Dogs, wolves, llamas and many other breeds of animals do it.
According to Wikipedia:
"Non-sexual simulated mounting for dominance is also common among same-sex groups."

Well i don't think they are gay. it could just be the pet shop has mixed up like they did with mine and if you don't know, take them to a pet shop or vets and they should know in fact if you show me a picture i might be able to tell you

Don't be confused with the sex of your guinea pig because sexing is very easy in these pets. Even you can differentiate sex in babies. You can differentiate after 2 weeks of age. Pet stores can mislead, you can visit to vet.
Examine the genital area of the guinea pig. Vagina is closed by hymen except during heat and delivery. Female comes to heat after every 2 weeks for 24-48 hours. During this period, genital area is swollen and looks like bumpy. You can gently part the opening and see a Y shape opening. She is female.
For male press the genital area, You will see that the penis is extruding out.
