Prince Street, Bristol Prince Street is in Bristol, England. Bristol is located in the south west of England. Prince Street is named after Prince George from Denmark. Bristol was not only the third wealthiest city but also the second largest port of England in 1700. Due to the demand for more houses, this medieval city was developed and this is how Prince Street and Queen Square were created. If builders wanted to build on this new street they had to build only houses that were "regular, lasting and strong".
Prince Street is home to The Jurys Bristol Hotel a four star hotel which has a restaurant and a pub. It is close to the cities many art galleries, shopping malls, theatres and museums. The Shakespeare originally the Shakespeare Tavern is a pub on this street that has been built in the 17th century.
