How Long Does It Take For Yellow Box Turtle Eggs To Hatch?

Answer Question

2 Answers - Sort by: Date | Rating

The time it takes for Yellow Box Turtle eggs to hatch depends on the conditions.  For example, the nest and the weather conditions.  If the turtle layed the eggs 3 weeks ago, then I would expect them to hatch in another 24-69 days to hatch depending on the conditions.  Be patient and keep your eyes peeled and you will see them slowly come up from their nest after they hatch.  Try to keep preditors away from the nest so the eggs have a better chance for survival.  Preditors can be birds, lizards, and snakes.  Other animals might try to dig there so keep them away.  Have fun with you turtle eggs and watch them hatch.
