I suppose you could put aside your responsibility to minister to them aside for a moment, and just treat them as you would treat any other of God's creations, and accept them as God created them.

As early as the fourth century St. Augustin was advocating, "Hate the sin, Love the sinner". Christianity is about love and acceptance. There is nothing in scripture to suggest that we are supposed to "fix" each other.

Thank you for your response kkkkatie. To further clarify the meaning included in my question:I am quite aware that none of us can "fix" one another. It is not within our duty or power to "fix" anyone under these circumstances. As Christians our duty in ministry is say what God's word speaks about certain situations in life if, and only if, the person wishes to receive it. If they do not want to, our place is continue on with other things that God has set for us to do. In the mean time, the person who has refused is still treated with the same respect and kindness as anyone else is treated. No specification as to treatment is necessary in any case. I hope this clarifies my previous question.Thank you.
