    Basically Macroeconomic policy instruments can be categorized in two groups including; Monetary policy and Fiscal policy. The first policy instrument is conducted by Federal reserve and Central bank while second policy instrument is conducted by Executive and Legislative Branches of the Government. These two broad instruments of macroeconomic policies can be further categorized. For example, monetary policy instruments usually deals with the management of the short-term rates like discount rates, inflation rates. On the other hand, the fiscal policy instruments include budget, treasuries and taxes.
