    The word Slob means a slovenly, sloppy, careless, untidy, messy, dishevelled person. Other people also describe a Slob as a boorish, rude, ill-mannered, impolite, rough person. In Irish English slob means a stretch of mud or ooze along a shore. The word itself can be used to define just mud or ooze. A person who is crude and obnoxious can also be called a slob. You can use the word Slob in a sentence in the following way: "The guy at work has a slobbish behaviour" .The word slob is of Scandinavian origin.
