Where To Buy Snapdragons Around The UK?
Answers
The whole idea behind buying snapdragons is their novelty value. There are quite a few florists who deliver these flowers to your doorstep, and some of them may have these flowers on sale online too. The first of these flowers were found in the UK about 1933.
They are known to need a lot of sunlight to grow well, and have different ranges as far as heights are concerned, some being 1/2 footers (7 inches) and some as tall as 4 feet (46 inches). Growers advise that they should be planted in well-draining soil so that their roots don't rot.
The popular name "snapdragon" is derived from the shape of the plant's flowers, which bears resemblance to a dragon's mouth, opening and closing (hence "snap"). The flowers' colours range from white to yellow to crimson, and they bloom annually.
