Tutankhamen was an Egyptian pharaoh of the 18th dynasty. He started as a king in the year of 1333 B.C. Tutankhamen took over the charge of the kingdom as a king when he was only eight years old. When he got the crown of a king, he was advised to move back to Memphis from Akhenaton. Akhenaton was the city of his father-in-law and so he was advised to change.
The traditional religion was brought back after the changes made by Akhenaton, it happened during the reign of Tutankhamen. He died before his teen and shortly before that he sent troops to Syria to aid a helper against a group connected with the Hittites. Tutankhamen's name was in the midst of those stricken from the royal lists all through the 19th century. The location of his tomb was elapsed and his burial chamber was not discovered until 1922. It was discovered by Howard Carter (1873-1939).
Its reserves made the pharaoh perhaps the best-known of the pharaohs in spite of his early death and inadequate accomplishments.
