How Do I Get From Uddingston, South Lanarkshire, To Glasgow City Centre?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Uddingston is a village in South Lanarkshire which is around 9 miles from the city centre of Glasgow. It has a number of nice shops and a few great restaurants, but if you want a bit more choice and bustle then its only a short trip to the city centre.

If you travel by car on the motorway it will take you about fifteen minutes to get to the centre. A local taxi company will take you in for £16-20.

There is a bus which runs through Uddingston regluraly (every 15 mins through the day). It will take 45 mins to get you to Buchannan Bus Station in the City Centre. Its not a bad route and takes you along Argyle Street and by George Square.

You can also get a train from Uddingston which takes around 15 - 20 mins and drops you either at Argyle Street or Glasgow Central Station.
