If you live close to the coast, chances are that you may be constantly exposing your car to the excess salinity and humidity in the atmosphere, which are common features of places along the sea. In a coastal town, vehicles take a longer time to cool down if they are exposed to the harsh heat and they also frequently need to undergo servicing and minor repairs from time to time. While driving on the roads in coastal places, special care must be taken to avoid the problems caused due to engine trouble due to over usage. Car owners do tend to take the rising prices of fuel for granted, and may end up paying a hefty amount if the prices continue to skyrocket and if, unfortunately, their vehicle is not very fuel-efficient. It is certainly better to use public transport as much as possible instead of overexposing your vehicle to the bad road conditions in some places.
