Kittens may jerk while they sleep this is normal and it helps in developing the nervous system and muscles. The kitten walks at 16years of age and has a normal way of walking at 21 days of age. By 4 weeks of age kitten play and interact with each other. At 5 to 6 weeks of age they jump slightly and stalk while playing.

Kittens have no teeth when they are born. The deciduous teeth start to erupt at 2-4 weeks of age. All of the deciduous teeth are usually present by 8 weeks of age. The kitten's eyes will start to open at 7 to 10 days of age. Never force to open the kitten's eyes as the immature eye can not deal with light. The eyes develop in 5 weeks of age and the kitten can see clearly at this age.

The years develop at the age of 14 days the kitten can hear clearly by 4 weeks of age. White cats with blue eyes are usually deaf because the genes causing deafness is associated to the genes essential to produce this combination of fur and eye color. The kittens should be provided with safe toys at this age.
